Successful Empowerment Seminar Held at Alavanyo - Wudidi

Our empowerment summit for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in Alavanyo was super successful.

We impacted on the lives of 151 students and gave them all they need to be prepared for the examination ahead of them and how to face every challenge in life.

They were also coached on profitable avenues they can be engaged in whilst waiting for their BECE results.

The examination is expected to commence on the 4th of June, 2018.

We are very grateful to our speakers - Mr. Kokofi Simon, Assistant Headmaster (Admin) of Kpedze SHS,

Prince Ellis Antsroe of Antlis Oil & Gas Ltd,

Divine Kpe of Every Child Along,

Richard Kitsi Executive Director of Locust Foundation, students and teachers in Alavanyo.

The seminar was organised in collaboration with the Alavanyo Youth Association under the theme, Reaching Out For Your Potentials Outside Your Comfort Zone.

Below were the topics we talked on;

1. Overcoming Their Fear to Success. (This was to essentially be to deal with their fear toward the exam and by extension other situations in life.)

2. Developing a Growth Mindset (It essentially tries to help them see the bigger picture in life, thinking of achieving big. Such a motivation is to enable them put their best in the exam.)

3. Maximum the Waiting Time (this topic is to help them on what to be doing whilst they wait for their bece result.)

4. Answering Examination questions with Confidence ( This will be about how the students can answer questions to satisfy the needs of the markers.)

At the end, we had an impact-full seminar with the pupils.

Pictures of the program can be viewed on our gallery page.
